After a successful career as a regional leader in the North Carolina green industry including owning my own landscape company for 24 years, then selling to a Lawn and Landscape Top 150 company,in addition to serving as a Trailblazer with the NALP,  Carolinas Irrigation Association Board, and providing industry specific educational seminars,  I know a thing or two about strategic planning, goal setting and generating additional revenue with unique add-on business ideas.  My passion now lies in helping others by providing consulting services to small and medium size landscape, irrigation and lawn care businesses.

Acquired Turftenders with 4 employees in 1995. With peak growth, Turftenders employment exceeded over 50 persons. During the 24 years in business the company, performed over 1,200,000 hours of landscape services and beautified over 3000 properties. During this time served as a Trailblazer with the NALP, Vice Chairman on the NC Irrigation Contractors License Board and was featured in several trade magazines. Additionally, the company completed 2 small landscape business acquisitions. Eventually selling the company to a Lawn and Landscape Top 150 company.

City of Oaks Landscape Maintenance was small commercial a residential landscape maintenance services provider. The operation was merged folded into Turftenders.
